Initially borrowing his dad's push mower, Matt Kazla started mowing his neighbours' lawns for a small fee after hours and on weekends.
That was the beginning of Matt's Mowing & Contracting (formerly known as Matt's Mount Pleasant Mowing & More). And from little things, big things grow.
Seven years on, this small business has grown from a side hustle to a full-time job, and to assist with operations, Matt employs six full-time workers.
Nowadays, we offer a wider range of services including slashing, seeding, spraying and spreading.
